Insurance & FAQ

Many plans cover medical nutrition therapy with a Registered Dietitian, often with little or no out-of-pocket cost. I'm in-network with:

  • Aetna

  • Curative

  • VA Community Care (Veterans need an approved referral from the VA before booking)

More insurance plans are being added. Don't see yours yet? Self-pay is easy: I accept HSA/FSA cards (medical nutrition therapy only), cash and Afterpay (split your payment into installments). I can also provide a superbill you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Coverage varies by plan. Call the number on your insurance card and ask about "medical nutrition therapy with a Registered Dietitian" (CPT codes 97802 and 97803).

Frequently asked questions

All visits are by secure video. You must be located in Florida or Georgia during your visit.

Is fitness coaching covered by insurance?
No. Functional fitness coaching is self-pay only. Nutrition counseling within fitness and bundle programs is also self-pay. Medical nutrition therapy visits may be covered by your insurance.

What should I bring to my first visit?
Recent lab work (if you have it), a list of medications and supplements, and a rough idea of what you ate the last few days.

No. We work with what you like and change what actually matters.
